Drake University‘s Third Annual Concert for Hope featured EGG as their headlining band. The concert, sponsored by Invisible Children, was a fundraising event for children in war-torn Northern Uganda. The Invisible Children crew presented a movie about the situation in Uganda, and EGG finished off the night with a rocking show.
EGG is a funk-driven rock group with a vaguely Dave Matthews-like sound. Made up of Drake students Sam Mogerman, Luke Dawson, Ben Chappel, Ben Mogerman and Nick Rueckert, these guys have been making a name for themselves lately in the Des Moines music scene.
